Upcycle Your Favourite Clothes: Embroidery + Paint Workshop

Have a favourite old jacket, T-shirt, or textile piece that you just can’t let go of?

Bring it along and give it a new life through embroidery and paint!

Join me for a fun, creative 3-hour hands-on workshop where we’ll explore abstract shapes, colours, painting, and simple embroidery stitches to transform an old textile into something unique.

We’ll begin by looking at shapes, colours, and everyday objects around us for inspiration. You’ll create a rough sketch, experiment with your ideas on a small fabric patch, and then translate your design onto your own garment or textile piece.

The designs will be abstract, playful, and personal—there are no rules about making the “perfect” artwork. You’ll learn basic embroidery stitches and painting techniques while discovering how ordinary objects can inspire interesting shapes and compositions.

You don’t need to have any previous embroidery or painting experience—just bring your favourite piece and your curiosity!
