About

I'm Swarupa Chatterjee, a textile artist creating sustainable, handcrafted pieces through slow and mindful processes.

I work with naturally made fabrics and upcycle secondhand garments, transforming them through embroidery, painting, and natural dyeing. Each piece features intricate hand details, making every product truly one-of-a-kind.

I believe in reducing waste while creating beautiful, wearable art. Every stitch and dye bath is done with care and intention, honoring both the materials and the craft.

I host online and in-person workshops where participants explore textile manipulation and design. I also collaborate with artisans and weavers from India, connecting contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship.

Welcome to my studio, where every piece tells a story.
